zoë rom is a boulder based writer and journalist. She is the associate editor of trail runner magazine, host of the DNF podcast and an outspoken advocate for environmental justice. she has a master’s degree in environmental journalism from the university of colorado and has a deep passion for our public lands. her work has appeared in REI co-op journal, discover, rock & ice, trail runner, backpacker, and threshold podcast.
